      Director Interview

      Sep 24, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Singapore
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UiPath (Singapore) in Sep 2020

      Interview

It was going well for weeks, and then.....it just ended. Very similar to what the other interviewees here experienced, i.e., unprofessional/disorganised. I had a phone screen with the recruiter who liked my profile, but went silent for a couple of weeks. I followed up twice and then heard back, saying I got through to the next round (case interview). The case interview was with a director from one of their North American offices. It went pretty well too, and I heard back almost immediately that I'm through to a personality/fit interview with another director from another North American office. The interview went really well too, and he said he thought I'd be a good fit. I sent the recruiter a note after the interview, and only heard back almost 2 weeks later, saying although all the interviews were positive, the level of experience I have doesn't match what they had in mind for the role. It seems really strange that they'd put me through multiple rounds just to tell me that my level of experience doesn't match the role I'm applying for. They could have saved all of our time by looking this up before scheduling the interviews. Also, as the two interviewers were from North America, the interviews were scheduled at 11pm and 6am respectively, i.e., they weren't exactly convenient timeslots, and UiPath should have done a better job screening me if it was really because of my experience. With that said, considering that my interviewers were all happy with my profile and said my experience would be very similar to what I'd be doing in the role, I'm pretty sure I had the right level of experience, and I'm suspecting that UiPath used experience as an excuse and instead, already proceeded to hire someone for the role. If so, it's pretty similar to what some of the other interviewees have highlighted here. Overall: messy process, disorganised, and unprofessional.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UiPath in Feb 2022

      Interview

Interview process leaves a lot to be desired: 1) Very short in general (~30 minutes) and do not leave adequate time for you to ask about the role 2) Interviews were canceled and rescheduled multiple times with very short notice (e.g., minutes) 3) If they are no longer interested, they just drop off with no notice

      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UiPath (Bengaluru)

      Interview

5 level interview, with panel, business case round, followed by Region MD and then HR. Took 3 months for the process to complete. Wasted time as they were not able to even match current salary. HR did a poor job of not doing the due diligence before on compensation expectations
