I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UiPath
Interview
I interviewed with a recruiter and with the hiring manager.
The recruiter could not stop raving about how the company is different than others: transparent, honest, humble; how everybody is genuine and works together with others to create something special. Overall a nice call, although today I know that it was just empty words.
The interview with the hiring manager was not as good. I sensed that he was completely distracted and arrogant and did not have any solid plan for the role/responsibilities.
My main gripe is that a company that claims to be different/honest should not hide behind a generic "position on hold" email. I know for a fact that this is not true. Be genuine, as you claimed, and provide honest feedback. Even "not a good fit" is fine. Sending a system generated email and then not replying to a follow up (part of a previous, lively thread between us) is definitely not genuine or special.
