UpKeep Maintenance Management interview questions

I spoke with the Chief of Staff, Caitlyn, about internship projects that I would work on, my current skillset in design, and what I was looking to learn about from this experience. This interview in itself was a great experience because it showed how the company not only is looking for people who can contribute but also they want to ensure that the company is the right fit for the applicant. Caitlyn was great at communicating overall expectations of the internship as well as assuring me that I would have the freedom to explore my own projects with guidance from the operations team.

The interview process was very disorganized and took over a month only to get rejection feedback for a seemingly frivolous and minor technicality that was not disclosed at any point prior to receiving feedback. The technical screen was an hour long pair programming exercise the scheduling of which was haphazardly thrown together at the last minute. During one of the breaks in the middle of the remote on-site interview I was informed that there would be an additional session in addition to the 4 already scheduled. UpKeep's recruiting team was also not upfront and/or misleading about where the reference check stage fit in their process. The entire experience was disorganized and unprofessional.
