      Research Analyst Interview

      Apr 4, 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Upstream USA in Mar 2022

      Interview

I had a quick screening call where the HR person went over the job description and asked basic questions about my qualifications. Then went through a series of three additional interviews, all with future managers. Lastly, I submitted a writing sample and heard back quickly about an offer. The interview process was really quick and I was kept in the loop of my application status throughout the entire process. The interviews were very conversational and it really felt like the team was also making sure that my questions were answered also.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Upstream USA in Jul 2020

      Interview

The interview process was pretty lengthy and took about a month. It was an overall positive experience. In the first couple rounds I was in constant contact with Talent Acquisition Coordinator. After what seemed like it was going to be a final interview with the hiring manager, things kind of went silent and then it was another two weeks before I was made known that they went with another candidate. The hiring manager was very honest in the interview - and made clear some of issues a person in this role might face. There was a moment where the hiring manager basically made it known that there were issues around conflict in the workplace and people were reluctant to work together. I'm grateful for her honesty, but it was super awkward.
