I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2016
Interview
There was an initial 15 minute phone interview. I was interview by a hiring manager who seemed pleasant and genuinely interested. I was then informed that I would participate in a Skype interview as well: a 15 question/answer session. I was given time to practice answers to the prerecorded questions. After viewing my response, i was given an option of redoing the question. The Skype session was then reviewed and employment determination was then made. The questions concerned different teaching methods employed and situational ethics.
