After applying online I was emailed that I was selected for a phone interview. Scheduled and went to the preliminary phone call (20min). Once passed, I was invited to do a secondary video conference interview in which I was asked several questions in the subject matter I wanted to tutor (1hr).

Interview on video of you teaching something, everything else was back and forth emails or online questions, you perform a profile for yourself. I think it's all very straight forward. If you want to sub-contract, its pretty self explanatory.
