Varsity Tutors City-wide Position interview questions

I submitted my application on their website and then received an email to schedule an interview. I was ill and didn't check my email until several days later. I responded to the email with my available days and times as requested. I never heard anything back from the interviewer. However, I received an email at 3am in the morning indicating that my skill sets could no longer be used for the position. The ironic thing is that I performed the same exact job at another tutoring company in the office. I sent an email to the interviewer indicating what I received and never received a response.
