I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Verkada (London, England) in Oct 2021
Interview
Quite straightforward and professional, good time keeping and organizing of meetings.
Got to the technical which I unfortunately didn't do well though it was due to my own ability. The interview was very fair in the sense the manager asked what topic would you like to be tested on so in that sense the ball was in my court.
The only thing I can fault on is
a) Didn't really do any ice-breakers from the manager straight to questions which can be quite intimidating but maybe that is a personal thing as all other interviews I had at least try to find out who the candidate is to see if they are a good fit
b) After the interview I already knew I didn't get it but I asked for feedback for myself for constructive feedback but after contacting two of the recruiters no response or update at all which I find quite unprofessional as I think the candidates should at least get a simple e-mail. This is the only reason I give it a neutral experience opposed to good experience.

I applied online. I interviewed at Verkada (San Mateo, CA) in May 2026
Interview
The first round was fairly easy wanting to learn about yourself and if your aspirations and experience aligns with the companies values. The second Interview was a Technical Interview that was fairly difficult just ensure you work with the Engineer on the project they're more than happy to answer questions.
Everything was explained beforehand, no surprise. The whole process was very clear, very detailed. The goal is not to trick you, but to test you in a normal environment. It’s a 4 round process, the last one is onsite. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.
