I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Verkada (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2023
Interview
The interview process included an interview with a recruiter, a peer, the hiring manager, and then a five-part assessment.
I had 0 indication that things would not pan out well. After waiting 3 weeks for a reply on an assessment that took me time and energy to complete, I was rejected with an automated email. If they had a better candidate for the role, that's understandable; but to have a candidate invest their time and energy into an assignment of that magnitude and participate in THREE interviews with no follow-up email or call? I can't believe it. I've never been so disrespected by a prospective employer or a recruiter in my life.

Q: I was asked over and over again why I wanted to leave my current company
Q: I was asked about my skill set
Recruited to discuss field marketing manager role. We had about a 45 minute call set up. A good portion of the call was the recruiter talking about Verkada and a bit about the role and why it was being filled.
Meh interview, not technical at all. Really focused on events experience. The recruiting team is very aggressive and is driven by a quota that they need to meet. This means that there isn't really a quality interview or option to actually understand the company.
The screening call went phenomenal. Recruiter seemed friendly enough and we scheduled a set date and time for the next interview the following week. He said he would email me by the end of the day.
nothing,
I emailed him that friday thanking him for the interview and his time, and asked for confirmation on our next interview time and date.
Nothing.
Followed up with him on Tuesday one last time (day before next interview)
Nothing.
I was really unimpressed with the lack of communication, I definitely would not have minded if I had been told they moved on with a different candidate, but ghosting AFTER setting up another interview? That's shady.
