I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Via Transportation in Jun 2025
Interview
Clear and communicative from start. Interview process started with a 15 minute screener from the internal recruitment team. Step 2 was a 30-minute phone interview with a person in a similar/related role on a different team. Step 3 is back-to-back 30 minute video interviews. In my case, it was a person in the same role I was applying for and the hiring manager. Step 4 was seemingly the final/near final round. This was with a director-level executive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions generally focused on how you would support clients, manage hourly employee issues, utilize your field managers, etc. The question that threw me the most the whole process was "take 3 minutes and tell me about anything."
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Via Transportation
Interview
Very odd interview experience. Started with a 30 minute call with someone who would have been a peer, went well. Then radio silence before asked to do a 15 minute recruiter call the day before two 30-to-45 minute back-to-back interviews. Several interviewers were late. Questions in those longer interviews were odd. One interviewer in particular was somewhat aggressive and asked several roleplay-type questions covering things not on the job description. If I had progressed, there would have been two more rounds of interviews.
Just a mess, really.
Asked for availability for next 2 weeks, then automatically booked a slot in that availability. Was a weird process compared to every other interview. First interview was via phone. Pretty normal. Interviewer was nice
