I interviewed at Via Transportation (New York, NY)
Interview
I interviewed in Oct/Nov 2025, and skipped the initial HR stage because of a referral and having interviewed there previously. My process consisted of two virtual interviews with staff in different parts of the world, a brief HR touch base, and then an in-person super day with 4 different interviews. As mentioned in other reviews, the interviews are scenario heavy. The interviewers are not part of a coordinated panel. As best I could understand it, the hiring team didn't actually know who the person in the role I was applying to would report to. Even after four interviews in the office, I found it extremely difficult to get a read on what it would be like in the position. Communication from HR was timely. When I received a generic email informing me that I would not be moving to the next stage, I followed up and was able to get a small amount of feedback.

Question 1
Many scenario questions with follow-ups related to situations I'd be likely to encounter in the role.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Via Transportation in Jan 2019
Interview
I NEVER LEAVE FEEDBACK - But for this experience I had to.
Got contacted by a headhunter, interviewed and prepared, scheduled a 1st interview and I confirmed and the person never showed. Had to reach out about the missed interview and never got a response. 2 weeks later got contacted from the head hunter, not the company about scheduling another interview. Poor experience already. Still no reason or why the interview was missed. Had to wait a little over a month for the next scheduled interview. Interviewed with a member who would be reporting to me, which I thought was weird. Interview was more of a sell on what the company was doing, funding they have and no real care of who I was or what my accomplishments were. Very short and abrupt. Tried to ask questions, but the interviewer said they did not have time and hung up. Person didn't even know who I was, what I got recruited for or who I had been in contact with.
Was asked 2 questions about difficulties the company was facing, but felt as though the interviewer was just trying to knock this off the list for the day of tasks. Worst interview experience I've ever had.
Got a automated response the next day.
Poor company logic on how the represent themselves and how they approach talent. Especially as they are trying to expand and get into new markets. Please read all the feedback and improve your hiring teams.
I have gone through glass door's reviews and wanted to believe the process and company would be different, but It is not. Don't waste your time with this company.
In all process took about 3 months
