Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Via Transportation in Jul 2026
Interview
It was a fast process - I was contacted within about two days of my application. That's the only positive thing I can say. The interview itself was an unpleasant experience. The interviewer was talking so fast and reading directly from a script the entire time, even including the opening greeting.
Beyond that, some of the questions that were asked were not interview questions at all and didn't pertain to the job, company, or past experiences in any way. After about two minutes of this conversation I completely lost all interest in this company because it quickly became apparent that the interviewer didn't want to be speaking with me and was just wasting time.

Question 1
Abnormal questions for an HR call, first round. 2 on the spot case studies and then told to "teach me something for two minutes"
Applied and was reached out to by a coordinator within about a week to set up a recruiter screen. Had the recruiter screen and got an automated rejection the following week. I reached back out to the recruiter to get feedback, since my background was 1:1 with the JD, but was totally ghosted.
