Avoid interviewing with this company! They interviewed several qualified candidates before me, nobody got the job. I've seen this position open for 6 months now.
Their data science team has 3 people. Only one person has a degree in math, cs, or stat. They are currently stuck on using ML to locate riders within NYC.
They phone interview candidates to get FREE ideas. They ask you to analyze NYC yellow cab riders data using ML. They call it "data challenge". I believe they are working on that, but are clueless.
I sent in my R code in a write-up using k means and other algorithms. The ideas and code now appears on the interviewers personal website.

We want to know where are the riders, how would you do that?
pretty fast process in general. first talk to someone on the team to introduce yourself. two rounds of technical interviews. Data challenge. Final onsite for 5 interviews almost back to back
So I only got interviewed one round. That was lucky because it seems like they wasted everyone else time more. They are just trying to seem like they are hiring because they just got IPOed. Don't waste your time talking to them. A very disrespectful company. Seems like their IPO failed as well so I guess it didn't work.
