I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Via Transportation (New York, NY) in Feb 2020
Interview
Nothing out of the norm; as expected. a few one on one sessions.
What I love about the org; their commitment to their mission which was clear from every conversation I had. What I disliked was the elitism that was also clear from every conversation that was had. They're very unaware of the level of bias that permeates the culture, which prevents them from self analysis and improvement. It was quite clear halfway through the interview. It's a shame because it's a mission that that benefits all people, yet their philosophy creates an elitist hiring process.
I applied online. I interviewed at Via Transportation
Interview
Had a wonderful exploratory conversation with the recruiter, but never had any follow up what so ever. Not a good way to conduct practices, especially when recruiting for a fellow HR professional. I can only imagine how they handle other positions.
