What a joke. Over two months, I had 11 interviews including a presentation. They checked my references which were very positive. They essentially all but told me an offer was coming. Then suddenly, there was a hiring pause and the role was pulled. Only to unpause (I guess) and put the role back up a week or two later. When they let me know about the pause, they said I would be the first call they make if the role came back online. Well, they never called. I even emailed multiple times and never got a response.
They seemed a bit disorganized from the get-go. Interviews were moved around. I was told at least twice, maybe three times, that this would be my final interview only for them to add on another. I understand that companies are having more and more rounds so I wasn't annoyed by the number of interviews or the length of time but I was annoyed that they wasted my reference's time when they probably already knew that the role wasn't being supported. I had heard nothing but positive things during the process so I'm flabbergasted that they didn't even respond to my emails when the role came back online.
I was very excited about the company and loved everyone I met within the organization for the most part. I knew I could make a real impact given my experience and skills so it's an unfortunate situation all around. I think it's a really great company with a lot of upside but I'd be weary to recommend someone to interview given all of this.
