Interview yapped for 25 of the 30 minutes and asked me only one question: "Can you tell me about yourself?". Genuinely had no idea what he was asking at all, his hypotheticals dragged on forever and he kept inserting little quips. At some point he started talking about his son and how he wants his work to impact his son's life. Very confusing experience all around.

I had a very disappointing interview experience with Via. I applied online and went through a first round phone interview, then an interview with a team associate, then 3 more interviews with higher level management (each an hour long). I felt very confident after every single interview and thought that there was a strong alignment of interests and skills. I routinely expressed my enthusiasm and appreciation throughout the hiring process following each interview and received nothing but positive feedback throughout. After the last three interviews, I received an automated, no-reply email saying they would not be going forward with my candidacy. After five rounds of hour-long interviews, they did not have the courtesy to send me an email from an actual person, nor offer even a single morsel of feedback regarding why I was not hired. Additionally, each interview utilized case study questions where I was asked to solve problems for real clients they were currently dealing with. So to top it off, I was tasked with providing free knowledge and labor on real company problems, and they still could not offer the courtesy to provide any type of feedback or notification from an actual person. To be clear, I am not upset they rejected me. I am upset that after that amount of time and knowledge and labor, they showed an immense amount of disrespect and lack of care for the applicant to not provide feedback or human response.
