I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Via Transportation (Melbourne) in Dec 2024
Interview
A complete waste of time, Multiple rounds stretching over months, seems incredibly inefficient and the interview stye or questions don't change. Two week wait after each interview, communication was horrendous and apparently has to be approved through a committee. For what was a pretty impressive company, they've become overburdened with processes. No surprises they haven't done anything innovative in years.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Via Transportation in Oct 2024
Interview
An in-depth but efficient interview process where I learned a lot about the product, the team and cross functional teams. The process gave me confidence that I was making the right decision and importantly, that I could be successful in the role. A lot of scenario based questions which helped me understand if I would find the work interesting. As the interviews went on they became fairly conversational but generally routed in sharing about my background and how I'd handle scenarios. Everyone I spoke to was smart, friendly, excited to get to know me and share info about Via. Process took ~2 months from application to offer, internal recruiting team kept me in the loop and the process generally felt efficient.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Via Transportation (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
I have been in senior sales roles at major global technology companies and this interview and hiring process was by far the most disrespectful, unprofessional and disorganized experience. Didn't end up getting the offer, but would never work here. I had hoped all the glassdoor reviews were wrong, but this was the most disrespectful process -- I put so much time and energy and effort into the presentation and interviews and they were unresponsive and disrespectful of my time every step of the way.
