I was sent a message by a recruiter on LinkedIn regarding a role on Via's marketing team. We shortly after set up time to chat and had a great conversation about the company, the role, and my experience. The recruiter indicated that she would email me to set up time with the hiring manager and then completed ghosted. Even after follow up, no response. I never received any communication after that call. Very unprofessional.
The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Via Transportation (New York, NY)
Interview
1. Meeting with HR 2. In office meeting with hiring manager 3. Meetings with about 4 people.
People seemed to be friendly but none of the interviewers seemed prepared about interview protocol.
There seemed to be a sense of idea poaching and just trying to get information as they weren't quite sure of how to do their job.
