Initial contact with the hiring representative was fine. My background was very strong for the position so I went into the next interview confident. Next interview was a Teams/Zoom call with the hiring rep and two manager level individuals. One of the managers asked me what I knew about the company/role. When I asked for clarification on what specifically he was looking for and he responded with a very sarcastic and somewhat heated, "It's okay if you don't know anything."
He then proceeded to give information about the company in the most condescending and belittling manner that I have ever experienced in my professional career. To me, the interview was done at that point and I did my best to just make it through the now awkward energy on the call. I have never been so glad to not receive a follow up interview.
