I applied online. The initial selection took about 4 weeks. I received an e-mail stating I've been selected for a remote interview. The first interview was about 1 hour with 3 members of the development team, mostly discussing about my background and profile, what I was doing in my previous job and explaining what working for CGG involves. I received a follow up on this interview the next day to organize the second step interview about a week later. The second step interview was about 45min HR personality based test, followed by about 1h technical test with the same 3 persons I talked with during the first interview. Questions were general programming as well as logic and math problems. Everybody was very pleasant and friendly during the whole process. I received feedback on the second step interview 1 or 2 days later, asking to organize a last Skype call with the manager a few days later. It lasted for about an hour, where we basically discussed the same things I've previously discussed with the members of the team, going more into the details of what I have been doing in my previous job. I received a verbal offer a couple of days later and the written followed 3-4 days after that. All in all it was a very positive experience.
