I underwent a two-stage interview process for this role. The first was a Microsoft Teams call with the HR manager who I'd be directly working under, which was a discussion of what the role entails I was able to discuss my work history, how my experience had matched the job duties and tasks for this role and my long term HR career goals. By the end of the week, I was informed that I had made it to the second stage interview. The second stage interview was face-to-face at the Gatwick CGG office, where I was given a tour of the building and a much more of an in-depth insight into the tasks and duties that I'd be doing whilst working there if I was successful. This is one of the best interviews I've undergone where typically in job interviews regardless of whether it is conducted online or face to face, I'm provided descriptions of the job duties and quizzed via competency questions. Whereas throughout both the interview stages I attended at CGG, I could see that they are looking for someone who not only has the required experience and skills on paper but who understands and alligns with their future vision of the HR department.
