My interview started off with an in person screen. It was informative and gave me all the information I needed to scope the company and the position. I was asked to complete a task - rather, write a report which I was to turn in within a week. After submitting my report, I promptly received an email and an invite to come on site for a second interview. Everyone was very cordial and easy to talk to. What I liked most about the process was - it was honest. Virtu was clear on what they were looking for in a new hire and what the job hours, which I appreciated. ( hearing the hours was a bit surprising but the benefits definitely outweigh the time) I met with the recruiter and one of the managers at the Austin office. Next, I had to take a reason and logic test so they could assess my skill. The next step was to fly to NYC to meet with the team there and the CEO. Again, everyone I met was nice, informative and I had no issues with my interviews or anyone I met. It was timely, informative and pleasant. I was brought lunch and enjoyed meeting the team. It was rigorous, but Virtu is clearly a company of excellence and it was all worth it.
