It's really boring and tedius, with extremely rude employees throughout the process but if you want a free travel to Ireland this review would be helpful.
1st stage: codility interview, 5 questions with 75minutes. Very same every time, fibonacci numbers and stuff mentioned on glassdoor would appear exactly the same way as they are never creative enough to make their own questions.
2nd stage: hr phone interview. Why virtu, why trading, and then ask you few brainteasers, also never changing the questions for years as they are not that caring about the employment process.
Q1. Clock question, difference between hands at 3.15pm
Q2. Same question, when is the next time it would be the same (0 degrees between them)
Q3. Dice throw, 1 dollar for each number ( 6 dollar for 6, etc). Expected value if you have up to 3 throws, if you dont like the outcome? ( just copy this question on google)
3rd stage : 1-1 trader phone interview
Q1. Why virtu, why trading, what is market making?
Q2. 25 horses, 5 horses race at 1 race. Minimum number of races to get the 3 fastest horses? (Answer is 7)
Q3. Dice throw, same question ( careless enough to ask the same question again ). This time, if you can get million dollars for each dot, how much would you pay( answer would be lower than previous situation times million, as it is alot more volatile now)
Q4. Now if you can play the same game multiple times as much as you want, how much would you pay? ( as it is less risk, closer to previous answer times million)
4th stage: onsite interview at dublin
Iq test first, then 5 interview with different traders
For iq test, look up iq test solutions and you will get it ( it's 53 question cutline out of 63 questions, 35 minutes )
After that, resume questions and very unoriginal brainteasers that were written exactly the same on glassdoor.
( 8 balls, 1 different weight. Minimum weighs?)
(1000 pirates in circle, 1 kill the one next to it. Repeat until only 1 remains. What number is that pirate?)
Etc...
