Before even meeting with a single person I was asked to complete a coding challenge.
No reasonable software engineer is going to invest their time completing this without even the courtesy of a 30 minute phone call explaining what the position involves.

Please complete a coding challenge before moving to the next step
Terrible experience, they send you an online assessment with FIVE coding questions you have to complete in 75 minutes before they'll even talk to you like a human being. Absurdly terrible time crunch that does nothing but filter good candidates out, especially mid-late career ones. Steer clear of this place, they clearly won't treat you like a human being if you do manage to make it past their ridiculous screening process. The HR groupthink in tech is out of control with this stuff.
