1. I was first asked to take an online coding test with 5 easy to moderate problems. I think I passed the exam, though it was never mentioned again. 2. Then an interview with an HR representative who asked questions based on my resume and introduced the company and the role. 3. After passing both steps, I was sent another link for an IQ test-like assessment. I think I passed again. 4. The next step was a one-on-one phone interview with a member of the team. What I applied for was a regular position but the interviewer talked about an internship. I clarified that I am supposed to be interviewing for a full time position. The technical part was a few math and statistical questions, not hard at all. 5. The final round was a virtual on-site with 4 team members in 4 separate hour-long sessions. Oddly, some of them asked me again if I was for an internship. In each session, the interviewer asked me to introduce a previous project and challenged me with two statistical questions. Only one of the interviews lasted well beyond the 1-hour slot, eating into my bathroom time before the next interview. Finally I got almost all answers right, except for the last, follow-up question in the overtime interview. I received a standardized rejection letter three days later.
