I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Vituity in May 2015
Interview
I submitted an application through the school's career center. Took about 5 weeks for them to get back to me with a phone interview. Phone interview was done by the HR person and he asked me very basic questions such as are you afraid of blood, etc. 1 day after the phone interview, I was contacted by the lead scribe at the hospital to set up a time for an on-site interview. She was very nice and was around my age, so it gave me some room to breathe. She asked me basic interview questions like why do you want to become a scribe, how do you deal with time-constraints, etc. Then she gave me 4 behavioral cases about what a scribe should do in certain scenarios. They notified me that I got hired 2 days after the on-site interview.

very casual. was a conversation. maybe one formal question. They just wanted to chat to see who you were and made you walk through your resume. They also want you to do a small test of being a scribe.

If a doctor yelled at you for not documenting correctly, what would you do?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vituity (Sacramento, PA)
Interview
Phone screening for about 10 minutes. They invited me to an in person interview at the hospital Location I applied for. In person interview (less than 10 minutes) - quick interview with two lead scribes and an ER doc. It was fast and easy.
The interview had several questions with very kind and engaging interviewers. I had a great time and did not feel like it was a high stress situation at all. Great place to have an interview for a good pre health experience.
