It started with a phone phone interview with HR with basic questions then a phone interview with the direct report manager followed with a day long in-person interview with 7 people. Very security oriented. Clear movement toward hiring former MS people. Tough place to work but bright and interesting people. Very evident they are still sorting out upper management issues. Start to finish 2 months.

All day, a mix of behavioral and problem solving / out of box thinking. Basically, if they've looked at your resume, they know you are capable of doing the job at hand - so they really just validate your thought process to prove out their resume assessment.

How would you solve this problem (numbers are not exact, but it's the same question): You have 2 pilots. You have 5 trips to make in the coming week, and pilots can't fly more than 48 hours in a row. You need to go from Seattle to San Francisco (and back), New York, and back, Los Angeles and back, New Zealand and Australia. How would you schedule your pilots and trips so that you meet the labor and safety requirements for your pilots, while achieving your travel requirements? Also, a plane has to refuel appx every 12 hours. You had a white board to do this in front of the hiring manager.
