Phone interview with the recruiter. General questions about why I wanted to work at Vulcan, my work experience and transferable skills and my salary expectations. Quickly followed up with an onsite interview. I interviewed with 4 people, each individually, within my department at varying levels, all were interesting and engaging (though obviously very busy, one was late after driving across town and the other had to rush out to go to another meeting). The interviews were fairly informal, just sitting in a room and chatting. General questions that asked why I thought my particular skill set would be a good fit, as well as them framing their expectations and explaining their approach to working at a unique company. Went back for one more interview with a higher level/dept. head (because they were not available in the previous round of interviews. I think they had just been hired before me.) then a several week wait before they called with an offer. I think this was due to new leadership getting up to speed on potential hires.
Overall, it took about 2 months between phone interview and final interview.
