The loop lasted about 3 hours, including a lunch segment. I met with a current engineering manager, 2 engineers, then another engineering manager plus director of program management. It seemed very positive, and that my answers were well received, yet I was surprised at the lack of technical questions. Zero programming or whiteboarding, maybe a bit of design, but almost entirely situational, which is important, to be sure, but surprising. I'd had one 30-minute coffee chat with the actual hiring manager, then was invited for the loop after a few weeks had passed. I left the loop thinking I'd got the job for sure and was surprised when the recruiter did not respond with any feedback. I still haven't received any, either positive or negative. The interview was over two months ago now. It was good practice I suppose, but that's all I can say about it. The company seems very disorganized. If you're not a good fit, a company will usually tell you right away, even end the loop early. I was later told that Disney prefers to contract out first. If that's the case, why post and recruit FTEs?
