My interview was at 4 pm on Thursday in early April. I felt very at home, probably because it was a thursday afternoon heading into a big festival weekend. So everyone at the office was probably in a good mood too. I think there was a good energy around the office because one of their artists -- My Chemical Romance -- was just announced as a headliner for some major festivals. People we're hanging out, jamming, doing work. The buzz was pretty electric. After the "interview" I got a tour and walked by the executive conferences rooms. I'm a long-time manager, DJ, and music-tech person and therefore naturally also general speaker head (who isn't). So it was awesome to see so many sweet rigs, like Mike Caren's setup, amongst others. Overall the experience was a tremendous one and I'm glad I got to do it. Also very glad I kept my cool and didn't start to drink (I think it was happy hour?)
