Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WebstaurantStore (Lititz, PA) in Feb 2015
Interview
they first gave me a phone interview with someone from HR who was a bit prickly in her approach to asking questions, age barely waited for an answer to most of them. Then I got called in for an in person interview with the managers. They were very nice. I got called again for a third interview and took a personality test and writing test and interviewed again with a really snobby woman that didn't even make eye contact. 3 interviews later, and I had to call and email a few times before they told me they were going in another direction.

Question 1
Why did you apply to this position. What made you submit a resume?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WebstaurantStore (Baltimore, MD) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process took over a month. First I had to submit a writing sample then conducted a phone interview followed by two more interviews over Microsoft Teams with two managers each. Overall the interviews weren't difficult and I had a good feeling about getting hired until the last round where in interviewed with the directors of content. The male interviewer was nice and had great energy and non-verbal cues but the woman seemed uninterested and disconnected the entire interview which was pretty unprofessional. From her energy alone I had a feeling I wasn't going to be hired so I wasn't too disappointed when I got the notice a week later. The interview process drags on way too long for a position that doesn't pay much. I was qualified for the position and I fit every quality they desired in a candidate as per their own opinion but in the end I didn't get it which felt like a bigger waste of time than it should've been. They should shorten the process and find more efficient ways to go about hiring.
