Wellington Management Fund Lifecycle Project Manager interview questions

I was contacted by a staffing agency through LinkedIn. I had a quick phone call with a recruiter, then coffee with the same recruiter about a week later, then a phone call with the hiring manager, and finally a full day of on-site interviews with about 8 people from across the Funds Group. I thought the interviews all went very well; the interactions were informal and conversational. I was not asked any difficult questions about subject matter or my previous roles and I enjoyed my conversations with most of my interviewers, despite being relatively unimpressed by most them. At one point, in the middle of one of my interview sessions, someone (I assume a Wellington employee) knocked on our door and asked if they could use the room to take a video call. This was clearly an error on Wellington's part and was the result of poor planning/logistics, but regardless we happily agreed to move to a different room to continue our interview. I was later told by the staffing agency that my interviewer felt that I did not handle the situation well -- that was the extent of the detail they provided. I received no other negative feedback and was told that all other interviewers thought I was a very strong candidate, so I have to assume that this minor incident was the reason that WM decided to pass on me. Everyone I spoke with at Wellington stressed the importance of culture and that beyond all else they value someone who is a good personality fit. If my interviewer (and potential future colleague) is truly this up tight about a candidate, then it's not the kind of place I want to work. If you are smart, ambitious and not afraid to speak your mind, you may want to look elsewhere.
