I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Whatfix (Bengaluru) in Jan 2019
Interview
I went through 3 rounds of interview : 2 technical 1 CEO
It started at 12 noon and was done by 5 PM
First round was with the Director of Engineering. Went great. He was a astute listener. Few sharp questions related to people management and my technical expertise.
Second round was with another senior technical person. He checked my technical expertise and design skills.
Next round with Khadim(CEO) was scheduled.
This really set the perspective about where I was going to land with Whatfix. Khadim is one of the CEO's who is clear about where he wants the company to be and how he wants to reach there. His questions were mainly to understand my aspirations and decide on the right fit for the company. He also clearly laid out his vision and even discussed the Whatfix clients and revenue(pretty rare).
Next up was Victor(Talent Evangelist) who explained to me all the details of working in an ISO certified enterprise and the extra technicalities it brings up wrt security and compliances without sacrificing the agility and focus of a startup.
