It was a group interview in the sense that I Was interviewed by a few curatorial assistants at once for their intern positions. Questions were both the general type of interview questions as well as pertaining to their own specialty section and how you can fit into that role. Compared to my previous interview experience, they asked me to elaborate a lot on my previous experience.

Responded to a posting on a graduate school list serve for one position, which it turned out was already filled. Re-sumitted materials for a second ( although, non-paid) position. Interviewed with department head about a week later, as well as with two other members of the department for whom i'd be working. Heard back about a week later about whether i got the position.
