I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (McLean, VA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Very professional, clear on responsibilities and expectations. The first interview was an in-person 1-1 with the store manager. She transmitted a lot of passion for the job as well as understanding for her role as store manager. All questions were answered and she was available both on email and by phone to answer any other questions. The second interview was an in-person 1-1 with the district manager and it was more formal, just really to confirm recommendations for hire of the store manager.
I had several interviews stretched out over a couple of weeks. The first interview was by phone, the second was with a store manager, then another telephone, then with a district manager. The communication was so poor. Really disappointing.
