I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
Preliminary phone interview with HR. The HR called me a bit later than the scheduled time. Screening questions was okay, I felt like HR lady was not engaged with me. The questions were pretty straight forward.

Question 1
What do you know about our company?
Tell us about your work experience
The interviewing process was rather short overall. Typical recruiter screening, hiring manager call, short Excel assessment, and another follow-up call with either the hiring manager or recruiter. I rated it as a negative experience since they had told me more than 2 months ago that I got the offer but never had any follow-up afterwards. I contacted HR every week for the next month and still got nothing. Luckily I was able to find a job elsewhere. WSI really needs to be more efficient with getting back to candidates– super unprofessional and disrespectful when they're not even able to provide any updates regarding the offer/position.

What interests you about working at Williams Sonoma?
I had an initial screening with the recruiter, who just wanted to hear more about my interest in the job my background. After that, I moved onto an interview day with 4 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with each member of the team. These interviews were pretty conversational; mostly outline what the job was and any questions I had for them. It seems like they just wanted to get a sense of your fit for the team.
The first interview was a 30-minute phone interview with the recruiter. The questions were overall intuitive and as expected, as questions were based on the job responsibilities outlined online as well as logistics. Moreover, I was able to learn more about the culture
