Unorganized, drawn out and it was fairly easy to get a good idea that their would end up being issues inside this company from a manager down perspective. As a veteran recruiter, I've learned to read people pretty well. The interview questions were pretty standard, but a few made me laugh. This company was trying to recruit me to the role (I was not looking for a new job, but wanted to entertain the conversation to see if it might be a good opportunity for me) and that gave away a huge clue how it would be to work with these managers. Two of them questioned me on why I'm looking to change jobs as if I'm the one applying for the position and looking for a new job. I had to kindly remind them that they're the ones trying to recruit me and they said, "oh yeah that's right." You don't try to recruit someone over to your company and then question them why they're leaving their company in such a manner as if you're investigating them. If were to,decide to leave my current company if you gave me a job offer, it's because you recruited me and I'm interested in the opportunity you sold me on. Not because I don't have a good work ethic or I can't stay with a company for a long time. You're a recruiter and you're trying to bring me over to yours so the appropriate question would have been, what attracts you to this role with our company, not why am I leaving my company. If I were applying for the position and seeking out your company then that would make sense for that question, but not if you're trying to recruit me and I'm not actively looking. They also did not follow up with me in a timely manner and kept me hanging on whether or not they wanted to make a job offer to me. They strung me along for a long time and the final interview manager that I emailed on a couple occasions never responded to me. She only had the recruiter respond to me. Mind you the whole time they were acting like they were extremely interested in bringing me on. Very deceiving.
