I saw their local store add for sales associate. I applied. 2 days later called for an interview. Interview was approximately 25 minutes. Spoke with the manager, then the owner
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Woodcraft Supply (Oklahoma City, OK) in Sep 2012
Interview
It was brief. I was a regular customer and when a current employee left he recommended me to management to replace him. I was in the store all the time and felt that I might enjoy working there and that I had something to offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was short. It basically consisted of asking me if I wanted to work there. The manager informed me of the salary and benefits (consisting of an employee discount and access to the classroom tools). He knew me as a customer and he knew my woodworking background and abilities so he didn't need to spend a lot of time asking me questions.
