Question 1
They do not pay for travel expenses.
The product management process at work and co is different that the typical ones carried out by almost everyone else: the design and prototyping starts from day 1. Basically, all the methodologies put there stress that you shouldn’t jump to solutions before understanding the problem and doing at least some discovery and analysis... not so at Work & Co, they start designing and sketching out solutions even before discovery is done. Discovery can inform design in a later iteration... anyway, don’t let this trip you up in the interview process. You will be asked to tell them how you executes on specific projects and you need to use their methodology in your answers if you want to work with them.
You will be given a case study that will showcase your product management skills. Don’t stress out about it, it’s not that hard if you have been a product manager already. Example: restaurant or hotel company with multiple brands asks you to redesign their digital presence.

The interview was ok. One of the seniors from this job family held the interview and shared general information about the position and company. I perceived the interview to be more on a casual conversation side where we talked about the position in general, my previous experience. I understood there were a few more steps in the hiring process, I think at least 3 more steps after that (more interviews and ad-hoc assignment). Not sure how other steps look like, since the process wasn't continued.
