I applied online. I interviewed at Wyze Labs in Jul 2021
Interview
I was contacted to participate in a phone screen and learn about Wyze, the team, and their mission while also being asked typical behavioral questions. The recruiter was quite nice and nothing was out of the ordinary about the interview itself.
I was told that I would hear back by either the end of the day, if not the end of the week for any next steps. A week went by with no contact, so I sent a follow-up to check on my application. The recruiter promptly responded and said that she would contact me as soon as the hiring manager responded.
Another week goes by, and I sent another email to follow up and reiterate my interest in the position. It has now been 12 days at the time of writing without a response to that email, and 24 days since the phone interview. I can't help but feel disrespected and frustrated.
I have no issues with being rejected - the lack of communication and manner in which my application has been treated feels far worse. I would've very much appreciated the common courtesy from Wyze to be notified about what was going on. There's simply no justification for ignoring candidates awaiting updates on their applications. Extremely disappointed.
Interviewed with recruiter and then interviewed with the hiring manager.
Simple interview process and screening. I really enjoyed meeting the team.
The manager interview included technical questions, and some coding.
Good experience would recommend,
great interview process done by he and tech team. Easy question and easy behavior questions. Very productive and effortless. Recommend everyone to give a try when interviewing a lot of companies to practice.
