      I interviewed at Xcel Energy

      Interview

Recruiter interview, at the end of which, he said "senior management decided to pause the role, in order to prioritize hiring of an IT Director at this time". Ok, fine. Then I was contacted a few weeks later with an interview invite. It was a panel interview with four members of the EA team based out of MN. It didn't take long to figure out the EA team is (an unfortunately all-too-typical) EA ivory tower. I'm fully TOGAF certified, yet they were very condescending to me throughout the entire one hour interview. All of the team members are old mediocrites stuck in the 1990s. In addition, the manager actually had the nerve to tell me "good luck" at the end of the interview, essentially letting me know that I never stood a chance (as I was judged before the interview even began). Avoid this place, the people are awful.
