I applied for the role in February and initially had a very smooth and well-structured experience. I received an invitation for a first-round interview on February 11, followed by a technical assessment. By February 24, I was informed that I had passed the exam and would proceed to a Hiring Manager interview. Shortly after, on February 27, I was notified that I would advance to the next stage—a Director interview.
Up to this point, the process was organized and transparent, with access to a candidate portal to track my progress. However, after completing the Director interview on March 7, communication significantly slowed down. I waited nearly two weeks without any updates, and at the same time, I lost access to the candidate portal.
I sent a follow-up email on March 14, and the recruiter responded on March 16, explaining there were delays due to year-end closures and asked for an additional week. After waiting again without updates, I followed up on April 4, but received a similar response requesting yet another week.
While I understand that delays can happen, the lack of clear timelines, repeated postponements, and loss of access to the candidate portal made the experience frustrating. Better communication and transparency would greatly improve the candidate experience.
