Started with a phone interview with HR. The woman was really nice and she seemed to really like my qualifications. She told me she felt like my background really aligned with what they're looking for. It sounded really promising and she told me that there would either be a phone interview next with the Director or just skip that and do an in-person interview. I was told I would hear back in a few days, by the end of the week and that if I didn't hear back I should reach out. I never heard, so I reached out and then still never heard back. I reached out again a week later and still never heard anything. I feel that even if I didn't get the job I'd still like to know the status of the position when promised. It's just common curtesy.
