After two rounds of interviews, one telephonic and one on-site, I was called by HR to inform me that they would definitely not consider me for this role because "we find you very motivated and we suspect that you will get bored in this role quickly and will start looking for something new". Even if this statement was some sort of bait that I should have replied with my utmost eagerness to work for this company, the statement "we will not hire you because we found you very motivated" was so weird to me that I simply said that I understand the decision and thanked for their time.
Who doesn't need motivated employees??? It is simply mind boggling. So much to say about the company who is afraid of hiring new people because they might leave soon. The company should believe in itself and think about the ways how to make the work fulfilling and rewarding for the employees, otherwise the company will simply loose the game. It is just the matter of time.
