We interviewed in the lobby; possibly the most distracting place in the building. I came in as the most qualified candidate (based on their unique requirements and what I was told). Most of the questions were personal in nature; one illegal. Felt like an interview for a BFF rather than as a professional. Half-way through, the interviewer described the workplace as chaotic and a lot of complainers. I'm quite certain I had the look of horror on my face. Although I thought we got along well, I knew from the illegal question that the interviewer had no idea how to interview. Oddly enough, they went with an candidate that wasn't as qualified as me and located remotely (that person was sent by the same recruiter and he gave me feedback). Although initially disappointed, it sounds like a horrible place to work.
