The entire process began with a screening round on call followed by a virtual tech round, an assessment round and the final interview with the CTO.
Tech Round - Pretty basic. The questions were largely based on programming concepts and software QA knowledge by the Lead SDET.
Assessment Round - They shared a document with all the details of the assessment where it was asked to design an UI and API automation framework covering some key test cases.
CTO Round - The worst experience of the lot. It dragged on for about 2 hours instead of one with utter disregard to the time committed to the candidate. Apart from questions based on soft skills by the CTO, the lead SDET from the previous round was also a part of it by repeating the same nature of questions as of the tech round. This round also included in explaining the submission of the assessment with necessary explanation.
HR Response - By far the worst and the most unprofessional HR I have ever experienced. I was assured of a feedback within 2 days of the CTO round completion which was not honoured. Imagine someone wasting your time by unnecessarily dragging the interview round and there is no timely feedback for it. They are nothing but a bunch of unprofessionals picked up from a lot.
