I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zensar Technologies in Apr 2024
Interview
The interviewer, with merely **2+ years of experience**, was tasked with interviewing a candidate with **9 years of experience**.
This is a glaring mismatch that raises questions about the recruitment process and the selection of the interview panel.
The interview process felt like a nostalgic journey, akin to giving viva answers, which further underscores the lack of alignment between the interviewer's experience and the candidate's seniority. The criteria and methods used for selecting the interview panel remain unclear and warrant scrutiny.
Furthermore, the interviewer's behavior was far from professional. Exhibiting impatience and not allowing the candidate to finish their responses is not only rude but also hampers the effectiveness of the interview. Patience and respect are fundamental to a productive and fair interview process.
Such experiences can be disheartening, but they also provide valuable insights into the organization's culture. It's crucial to remember that an interview is a two-way process, and the behavior of the interviewer often reflects the values of the organization.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interviewer seemed to be asking textbook questions as if they were randomly downloaded and fired off without context.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Zensar Technologies (Hyderābād) in May 2021
Interview
Such a worst experience ever.
One person took L1 and he has no respect to the candidates attending the interview.
Later, I escalated to HR and she rescheduled the L1 with a global DevOps Architect and he takes up the interview and is pretty much impressed.
L2 goes not more than 15 mins and he says he is also satisfied. Then the HR asks to share experience letters and payslip documents.
Right after doing that, the HR took more than a week and comes back and says we cannot move forward with candidature as we haven't received good feedback from 2nd round.
What is the point of asking for documents when L2 is not cleared?
I believe if you're not able to provide package as per demand, say it upfront. Don't waste candidate's time. Such a freaking experience with this company.
