The process began with a one-way video interview with five questions, which were simple and mostly behavioral followed by a phone screen with the Talent Associate. I appreciated how the Talent Associate provided information about why this new role was created and some of the challenges the organization was facing. The next step in the process was interviewing with the Director of Executive Office. During the interview, he seemed disinterested almost immediately, based on his body language and tone. It made it more difficult to want to give thorough answers because it seemed like I was boring him. The fact the CEO was portrayed as not only intense but difficult to work with was a major red flag. I appreciate knowing information like that ahead of time; it sounds like the organization largely revolves around her personality. I was also not able to clearly ascertain what kind of work would actually be performed in this role beyond "campaigns," which seems important given how the job description was also relatively vague. I appreciated how the Talent Associate promptly and clearly communicated throughout the process.
