A recruiter called me for an interview and during our initial discussion, they assured me that I would get the expected hike. After clearing all the technical and managerial rounds, they took an unusually long time to schedule the offer call. During the offer call, a senior HR representative presented a compensation structure that was completely different from what was initially discussed. I found this very disappointing and unprofessional, as they offered a much lower salary than what was promised. Since there were no public reviews about this company, I reached out to a few people and learned that this is their usual approach, mislead candidates with false promises and then change the offer at the last moment. This kind of behavior shows a lack of respect for candidates and leads to a waste of time on both sides. I decided not to join the company because if this is how they operate during hiring, I can only imagine how poor the internal processes and culture must be. I'm sharing this review so that other candidates can make informed decisions and avoid wasting their time if they are not ready to compromise on compensation after clearing multiple interview rounds.
