Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Describe an instance or give an example of a time when you turned a loss into a win.
Role play - You are a Home Depot employee and a customer approaches you and says he needs a drill bit. (This exercise focuses on deeper questioning strategies to get to the primary problem the customer needs solved.
- recruiter
- hiring manager
- panel for like hours lol
Process wasn’t too bad. However, was absolutely ghosted on whether I got the role or not (it happens).
Also, if you notice a pattern here, one of the “interviewers” (client facing and account management) has brutally bad people skills. Couldn’t wait to get off the call as others have mentioned on Glassdoor already. Yikes!
